SeeSaw: Online TV service in beta

I just got my first look at SeeSaw, a new online TV service (using the defunct Project Kangaroo’s assets). It’s iPlayer basically, with a selection of UK shows, including many non-BBC. They seem to have a good selection, including some classic Doctor Who, which should keep me entertained for a while! It’s in beta, and I immediately had an issue with videos refusing to play, but this was fixed by making an exception to my AdBlock rules. (Well, foof actually, but it was causing the same problem). Speaking of advertisements, that is exactly how SeeSaw are making money out of this.

I’m looking for a super-simple CMS. So far, I like @OneFileCMS

OneFileCMS is just that. It’s a flat, light, one file CMS (Content Management System) entirely contained in an easy-to-implement, highly customizable, database-less PHP script.

I played with the demo at opensourceCMS, and got the feeling that I could have a lot of fun building a small website using this, and even styling the CMS itself. Actually, as the author himself admits, its more of a text editor than a CMS - and a plain text editor, with no WYSIWYG editor or even syntax highlighting.
I’m absolutely going to give OneFileCMS a spin, but I’m still on the lookout for alternatives. In truth, what  want could stand to be a little more feature rich than this one.

Tommy, the author of OneFileCMS, has some other brilliant and/or amusing projects. It’s worth glancing at his blog: http://iamnotagoodartist.com/
Also, SEO worms may have use for another of his tools: http://whatpageofgoogleamion.com/

WikiReader

The WikiReader is a funky Hitch-Hikers Guide style gadget that gives you Wikipedia in your pocket. I love the form, the touchscreen, the low power consumption, the low price and that it uses a MicroSD card. You can subscribe to bi-annual updates and they will post you the cards, or you can download the (4GBs of) data yourself.
I’m waiting for an e-reader gadget like this, but the size of a paperback, that allows you to put any data on the card to read. Ideally running some flavour of Linux. And none of this copy protection nonsense!

That’s all I want.
