Client: “We want every single upper case letter removed from the site and replaced with all lower case.”
Me: “Okay, that’s a lot of work. There are dozens, probably hundreds of instances of upper case letters on the site. Unfortunately, we’ll have to bill you for this.”
Client: “That’s fine.”
Alright, I have two questions:
Firstly, why couldn’t he just use a CSS text-transform to make all the characters lowercase? That way users wouldn’t need training and when the client realised he had been a moron, all the work could be undone, no harm done.
Secondly, why am I suddenly finding that some Tumblr posts (like this one) can’t be reblogged in their entirety? Come on guys, this is how Tumblr works - we share it, but you retain credit! Play the game.
