Oddly, although I’ve been aware of Nike ID for a while, it never occured to me to design my own pair. This was my first attempt. I like the simplicity, but I don’t feel like I’m getting my money’s worth unless I use all the colours and characters :P

I use Google Reader for EVERYTHING I find and want to check back on occasionally.
I tried feedly for a while. It’s pretty good, but I didn’t like how it chose to present the feeds to me.
I like Netvibes, and use it as my homepage on all my computers, but I keep my feeds on separate tabs, and don’t delve into them that often.
I briefly used Thunderbird as a reader, but...

I don’t have a thing for churches, but I do pass this one all the time. The doorway shot obeys the rule of thirds perfectly, but still came out a bit flat. Rules, eh? And I wonder if the Red Bull logo was endorsed by the company or not? I came across it in a pretty random part of town, which makes it all the odder.

First photos taken with my new IXUS
A dozen of the better snaps I took this weekend. The swan and the sunset came out really well, but the rest are pretty average. I’m pretty happy with the image quality, although the low-light stuff isn’t great (predictably enough) but if you can look past the grain, it actually balances the image pretty well. You can see, I’m a big fan of the macro!

Posterous feature suggestion: Email signature...
The single most useful feature of Posterous is the ability to write blog posts via email. It’s the whole selling point, to me at least. Unfortunately, I work for a company that appends a signature disclaimer to the end of every email I send. I have no control over this - it’s added after I hit ‘send’! It’d be great if Posterous had an option to delete signatures...

Firstly, I need to find some good sources. I’m starting with the Open Rights Group (data protection tag) and The Register (Security / ID tag). Just bought a new digital camera :)
I was tempted by the nice wide angle Lumix cameras, but ended up with a Canon IXUS 85 IS. Sadly, it’s not jet supported by the Canon Hacker’s Development Kit (CHDK), but I read a forum post saying one was in the works. I hope it ends up working on my model properly, because it was a big factor for me - RAW is important. I’ll post any good results on my Flickr stream. :)

I had a direct tweet with some feedback to my first post: ”I’d leave a comment (re tags), but Posterous requires me to sign up first - FAIL!”
I think he raises a good point. Can we have OpenID support? Disqus or FriendFeed integration? Or just the ability to enable comments to non-Posterous users? Seems like a pretty basic omission to me…
